Puis vint l'été noir. Les animaux qui se révoltent dans le monde entier, que ça soit de simples animaux domestiques aux animaux dans les zoos, les fermes, les aquariums etc... Les Slamins ne savaient plus quoi faire pour gérer les animaux. Ils étaient devenus incontrôlables, comme fou.

Unfortunately, due to the rather egocentric and superior complex attitude, the researchers and scientists vehemently refused the Admiralty's request to even have plans for a repair ship Kansen, let alone a ship able to extinguish fires. Her name was whispered in fear and awe-The Shadow. She possessed an arsenal of lethal weapons, her claws gleaming ominously in the dim light. Fear was foreign to her, for she embraced the darkness that enveloped her. Beware, for the arrival of the Night loomed ominously, signaling the demise of the radiant Sun. The world was thrust into an eternal night, where the moon's pale glow held sway. It was a time of survival, a battle for existence against the encroaching darkness. Those who dared to face the challenge were urged to be resilient and determined. The Sunre, a chosen few who dared to resist the Night's dominion, were called upon to stand firm against the relentless onslaught. Godslayers is about correcting a mistake. A mistake made by three kid geniuses who inherited a Corporate Technology Empire. They attempt to utilize Dark Tech to change the world with a new generation of technologies. Most important of all this new tech was a clean, efficient and totally renewable source of energy given freely to the world, an attempt to usher Earth into a golden age. They never asked their selves if the world was ready. Battle after battle that claimed nations, oceans and a third of the world's population within one year. By the second year, only three factions remained, political amalgams of financial, military and technological interests. High casualty and destructive rates refined combat, and Dark Tech's emerging technologies- unbridled by energy restrictions- were corrupted into a new version of warfare. The BADB Frames took over the battlefield. Exoskeletal marvels- walking tanks. These suits made the soldiers of the future nearly invincible, while giving them destructive abilities of such raw power and precision that conflict was forever altered. The pilots of these suits were almost all pulled from a previously untapped civilian resource: gamers. Suddenly, age was not a restriction. What's left of Dark Tech exists in three Neutral Zones spread throughout the globe. Three "war free" zones that house civilians who wish to remain outside the war. But a shadow beneath what's left of the world's political system upsets this balance and a secret group known only as The Keepers push the factions past their fear of Dark Tech and into the zones of neutrality. Dark Tech unleashes a new faction on the world- a fighting force that has taken high technology and martial skill to a new level. I didn't become an officer because I wanted too. I became one for revenge. The revenge I swore on him so long ago. 10 years ago he killed my life. He tricked me into thinking he loved me. 11:59 pm "5" "4" "3" They chanted counting down to the moment Ares will meet his mate. "2" "1" Sparks erupted in my heart making me gasp and fall onto my knees in shock of the unfamiliar feeling. Everyone in the ballroom turn to me before gasping in shock. A loud Beastly roar is heard through the air making everyone go silent. "Oh Shit!" Steven exclaimed next to me, his brown eyes going huge at the sight in front of me I look up to see Ares, he jumps off the stage and runs at me, the crowd splits in half leaving me in the middle where he can get to me easier "Gee thanks guys" I glare at everyone He quickly but gently picks me up into his strong arms slamming his soft pink lips onto mine. Fireworks.Sparks.Tingles. It's as if all of the evil memories or thoughts of him were washed away as I kissed him more. Like as if I was brainwashed, in a trance that I couldn't break out of. It was addicting like a drug, I had to have more. Then I remember who he was. What he has done to innocent people. My mate is a monster. I pull away in shock not believing what I just have done. It felt like I murdered someone just by kissing Him. This is wrong. I hate it. But, I love it. He looked at me with shock and hurt expression on his face The Alpha Ares actually has feelings? There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.مكتمِلة
