After Bri hears she will be forced to marry a younger prince from another kingdom to maintain the relations, Bri flees early in the morning. She doesn't know where to go and works under a false name in an Inn as maid. But her father the King, didn't accept her flight and sends guards after her. The world is unsafe and unsure for Bri and in a time of betrayal, she isn't sure who to trust. Even following the future she dreamed off, seems impossible.
All around her, Bri can see her horizons start to shatter...
This is my first 'real' story to write, and I'm just experimenting! I'm not a native but from the Netherlands and grammar is not my strongest side so if you see any mistakes, please comment on them so I can improve but keep it nice.
About the cover, I found it a while ago and I don't know where so if somebody knows the artist please tell me so I can credit her/him.

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

Isn't it said that you should give away what you don't use? After losing my life, I became the Villainess in a novel I didn't even finish. That was alright; I had asked for this second chance, after all. Even if I didn't think my desperate pleas were going to be answered like this, I would not waste this chance. Living with my family was comfortable, but my ambitions were big. Still, the first thing to do was to evade the death flags. For that, I have to evade the Crown Prince at all costs. As a commoner, if he sees me and takes me as a concubine like in the original, it will be very troublesome. But what is this!? Didn't my parents tell you I was sick?
