Lucy is as terrified of the world around her as she is sure of how to plan her every next move to avoid disaster. She knows that it takes one hundred and seventeen steps to get from the bus stop to the door of her first classroom on the first day of University, because she had planned her route out during the summer as soon as she knew her classes. The thing that scares her the most is the unpredictable, and Harry entering her life on that September morning was unpredictable at minimum.
With him at her side, Lucy finds herself discovering things that she never would have experienced on her own. Friendship in unconventional ways, Love from someone that may never be enough for her, Trust in herself and the world around her, and Confidence enough to embark on an adventure of her own and attempt to leave her anxieties behind. But if Harry ends up leaving, would she still be capable of living her best life? Or will she spiral back into old habits, leaving her alone and longing for the life that she had with her best friend?
