WHEN PRAYERS ARE NOT ANSWERED

We are living at a time in the history of mankind when human ingenuity has produced tremendous amounts of medical and technological resources to resolve many existential problems. Nonetheless, with all those resources in place, there always come days of our lives when we are confronted with the suddenness of tragedies, the ubiquity of evil, and the stark reality of our mortality. Arguably, the great majority of believers who cry their hearts out to God for relief from their problems - diseases, danger, and deprivation - become disillusioned when their prayers are not answered.
