In the the Pacific Ocean near Southeast Asia lies a set of islands that were separated from the rest of the world until the early 1900s. They were taken as a part of the British Empire and were renamed the Cartlet Isles. Immigration policies were strict, and it was mainly the British people and natives who lived there. Then shortly after World War II, the Cartlet Isles broke away from the British and immigration policies were relaxed leading to the more diversely populated archipelago it is today. It's a place where even orphan immigrants can leave their fingerprints and rise up.

Lê just moved to the Cartlet Isles from Vietnam. In Cartlet she meets new people and makes new friends. Quite a diverse group they are. There's an overprotective brother, creepy baker, and even a witch.

However, in current years, the crime rate of the country has gone up. And living in the capital isn't exactly the safest place to be...
