~A Saito Hajime Love Story~

Yuuriha Houki, the first female head clan went missing at the age of 7. Chikage's to the West, Yukimura's of the East, Agurisato's of the North (This is made up...), and the Yuuriha's of the South. She left her clan due to the war threats, killing and slaughterings of her people.

During the 8 years that Houki went missing, she decided to travel with a low profile for enjoyment. But, she stayed away from the southern region of Japan since it was her home. The threats and killings stopped right after the news announced that she was dead.

She is currently 15 now and she is living with Yukimura Koudou, an oni who took her in when she was 10. But, instead of staying home with Chizuru, she goes around Japan again to reconnect with old friends. Sometimes, she will stay with Chizuru and keep her company when she doesn't want to travel.

After Koudou left home, going to Kyoto for business, both the girls tend the house until Houki finally got a letter from home. Houki told Chizuru that she won't be back in three months but promised that they'll stay in touch. As she was visiting her parents, hiding her identity from everyone but her parents and the right and left-hand servant knew of her arrival.

As three months passed, she found a letter addresses to her from Chizuru that she hasn't heard a single thing from Koudou. She left her home, telling her parents that she has to go back to help a friend find thier missing relative. She tracks Koudou's last time around Kyoto to only find herself to be captured by the Shinsengumi.
