Ever wanted to run away from home?  Autumn has.
A war is taking place between the humans and the vampires.  Autumn Rae, the heir to the vampire royal throne, doesn't want to take a side in this constant fighting.  She runs away to the human world to escape this war.  Once there, she tries to fit in with the humans and makes friendships with them.
