Lacy Barlan is 12 years old. She lives in the suburbs of a city in California. Lacy has a big imagination and IQ for her age, which is a blessing and a curse. Bullying is a problem at her school and she is one of the main victims. But, one day that changes, well, kind of. Getting beat up, physically and emotionally, one day, a mysterious bystander saves her. Except, no one else could see her. This continues, not the bullying, but the frequent visits from the girl. After about 5 visits, Lacy decides that she is a guardian angel. She tells her parents, but nobody believes her. Until it becomes a huge rumor. What will happen?
