Hank Voight runs the Intelligence Unit in the 21st District and has great detectives that work for him. One day, his detectives arrest someone in connection they've been searching for for years. Then a familiar face shows up in the middle of it. It becomes a surprise for some people.

I love Chicago pd and the characters. This is my first published story so any criticism on what can make it better is welcomed. :D

At first the connection between Jay and Erin is tense but they soon find their way back into each other's lives. Hank Voight was a notorious name is Chicago. He was known for many things. He was known to have a son but he also had a daughter. He wasn't her biological father though. She was dropped off on his doorstep while she slept in the middle of the night with a sticky note attached to her blanket that had one work on it. A name actually. Kelly. She was only 8 months and Hank swore that he would find whoever left her on the doorstep and make sure they pay for abandoning her. Fast forward to present day and she is now a detective that works under him in the Intelligence Unit. She has made a lot of friends along the way as well as a lot of enemies.
