Hank Voight runs the Intelligence Unit in the 21st District and has great detectives that work for him. One day, his detectives arrest someone in connection they've been searching for for years. Then a familiar face shows up in the middle of it. It becomes a surprise for some people.

This story will be about detective Jay Halstead and detective Erin Lindsay from NBC Chicago PD. This story is about their everyday lives being hero's stopping the criminals of Chicago in the intelligence unit of the 21st district. This story will show the challenges that Linstead must go through everyday at work but also in their personal lives to get to where they want to be. These are not my characters and I do read alot of Linstead fan fiction so if something seams similar to your story I am sorry I am not copying, these are just the ideas that get stuck in my mind. She was dropped off on his doorstep while she slept in the middle of the night with a sticky note attached to her blanket that had one work on it. A name actually. Kelly. This is my first fanfic, I've read quite a few and want to give it a shot. This story is untitled at the moment and will focus on Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess, but all characters will be in the story.
