Hank Voight runs the Intelligence Unit in the 21st District and has great detectives that work for him. One day, his detectives arrest someone in connection they've been searching for for years. Then a familiar face shows up in the middle of it. It becomes a surprise for some people.

At first the connection between Jay and Erin is tense but they soon find their way back into each other's lives.
