"Kendall are you even listening to me?" No, I wasn't. I gave up on that ten minutes ago ever since the new kid was in the hallway. He was beyond gorgeous. He was wearing a white t-shirt that was too tight, making his heavenly eight pack clearly visible and his large biceps look even bigger. I mean I couldn't help but stare. "Uh ya, of course I am." Hannah didn't notice. I just kept staring at him. That's when I realized, he became suddenly more interested in Tanner Collins behind me, the school player that's always trying to hit on me, trying me to hook up with him, but I was just a nobody. People started clearing the hallways. I checked my watch. We still have 10 minutes before last period, where was everyone going? Hannah stopped talking. Well that never happens... "I'll talk to you later Kendall, I have to go to History early today cause we are doing a uh project...oh and I think new kid, Blake realized your staring he's coming over here, Bye!" Next thing I know I'm getting pulled into a warm chest as sparks went flying through my body everywhere we were touching. "Mine." he growled.

29 parts Complete

Kyan, beta of a wolf shifter pack, is second-in-command and fiercely dedicated to his role. Heartbreak and years of chasing an elusive soulmate have left him jaded, his patience thin with his packmates. Trust is a luxury he no longer affords, and he fills his spare hours with casual company, resigned to a life without deeper joy. When the alpha's little sister returns after four years of training, she's not the kid he remembers. Her time away has shaped her in ways he can't quite pin down. Could her presence shake up his guarded routine-or will it just be another reminder of what he's given up on?
