Leopardwing's mother Yellowheart went missing when she was just an apprentice. All warriors had to search the area and some even risked to search enemies' territories. When Leopardwing found Yellowheart's body, she let out a sad yowl. All cats shared tongues with her and soon, Everstar joined the grieving cats, and payed her respects. Leopardwing kept the ruby necklace she gave to her mother as a kit, and hunted for the cat who took her mother's life.
