Stuck in the present are Katherine, William and Chelsea; better known as Katie, Will and Chels. The were sent to change a past mistake but the time machine suddenly stopped working. In order to find the pieces to fix it, they must complete five trials.
Plus they are due back in the future in four days before they can't go back.

I am typing this as I go and I haven't read any books about the charmed ones, only going from what I know on the show. So warning: This is all fake, so none of it is real.

In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself.
