Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
The Reason
It's always been Rex Ford. I've always loved him. I think I always will. Sometimes though, you have to walk away from those that you love, because of the love that you feel for them. When you truly love someone, you'll protect them and not yourself. So I did. No explanation. No reason. I just walked. I knew that Rex would never understand my reasons, or understand that I did it because I cared more about his feelings, than I did my own. I walked away from our relationship because I couldn't burden him with something so awful from my past, and I'd do it again in a painful heartbeat. My secret very nearly destroyed me. I couldn't ever let it destroy Rex. Now nine years on, I'm faced once again with the man that I deeply loved, who I will always deeply love. A twisted turn of fate has thrown us back together, and I know he's not happy about it. Rex used to look at me with only love in his eyes; now he looks at me with only hate and confusion. That hurts more than I can ever say. Hurts more than I can ever let him know. For Rex still can't know nothing. I decided to write a whole poetry collection that concurs everything that has been happening in my years on this planet. I've been going through things good and bad. I'm so happy to put this out on short occasion but I'm ready to get this out.

Finding my Leelen [completed]
I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. He teaches me to fight back, to be strong, to scream for help because now there is someone always coming to my rescue. Because now I have someone who loves me. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people. Even so our bond is stronger than anything and anyone. But finding my leelan is not the end of my story, it's just the beginning...

Types of tears (COMPLETED)
Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" "I..." "Stop it!" he shouts, stopping me in mid sentence "I hate you." "B-But why? Why do you hate me?" "Oh! You know the reason." "If I would've, then I would've never bothered you." "Stop! Stop acting so naive and shit!" "I..." "I hate you! And that's it!" he turns and starts walking away. "We used to be best friends!" I was on the verge of tears. "Absolutely! We USED to be!" he says over his shoulder and dissappears from my sight. ⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪ She rises up forgetting her painful past, that has finally stopped haunting her. She's cannot wish for anything but peace. She tries to forget her bestie Kayden and moves on. She tries to forget her parents and move on. She tries to forget her true self and move one. And when she thought that she was finally free for her miserable past, her past was thrown back at her face. She finally meets the person who she never knew would guide her to the path of truth behind her bestie Kayden. Matthew Brown, captured inside the cage of his and Elizabeth's past, struggles to get himself and also someone dear to him free. He cannot decide if his black hair and blue eyes are a blessing or curse. He wished to never meet Elizabeth again after that day. But fate... No. But circumstances force him to meet her and do something he will surely regret. He knows everything about her, she wasn't even aware of his presence, until now. He knows her secret, she doesn't knows his. He knows what she wants, she has no clue of him. She wants to get close to him, he wants to get far away. She loves him. He loves her. But he doesn't want to.... Can Elizabeth discover the truth behind Matthew's mask?
