"You will aid the hero during his journey in defeating Calamity Ganon." That was the order that was given to you by goddess Hylia. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. Zelda and Link have finally reunited after the Calamity, and there's a lot to do to restore Hyrlue to its former glory. The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo. How To Be a Prince
A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. What happens after the Snow Queen is defeated? OR You ever see those cheesy TV shows where someone manages to screw up the simplest task so extraordinarily that part of you laughs and the other part cringes? Where the young comedic relief is trying to make a bowl of cereal but everything spills onto the kitchen table, for instance. Or that bit in the first episode of Brooklyn 99 where Boyle drops his muffin on the floor and simultaneously steps on it and hits his head on the counter whilst trying to pick it up. Got that image in your brain? Yeah, that's pretty much what's happening here. (Except none of this is funny and Andy Samberg isn't anywhere nearby to save me and I really, really want to go home right about now.)

She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within.
