"Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. How To Be a Prince
A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. They cause enough problems in hyrule... Dark is killing people, vaati kidnapping pretty girls, ganondorf planning to steal the triforce, link attacking poor defenseless cuckoos, zant being a weirdo, midna bossing people around, ghirahim being fabulous (wait what??) zelda being a brat.... Ok enough of that. But what would happen if they all got transported to earth? And what if a group of sisters are forced to take them in? What if some of them actually fall in love? "There isn't a woman in Hyrule or beyond that could satiate me like you." Alright ladies and gents, It's wedding season in Castle Town and on this season of the bachelor is non-other than the Hero of Time! Link has defeated Ganondorf and Hyrule has once again recaptured its' reign of peace and prosperity. Or has it? Mayhem has returned to the land of Hyrule as news sweeps the nation that the Hero of Time must be wed! The royal family will hold a competition/ball, and all are welcome to enter. However, our hero Link has only eyes for one girl... and that's you dear reader! (For the sake of the story we are going to pretend Zelda does not send Link back to the child timeline.) This is a Link x Reader romance and my first time writing something of this genre. There will be a PG-13 ending AND an NC-17 one. I'm giving a whirl at some smut writing (you can thank the lack of romance in my life for that.) I will add a warning disclaimer for the romantic and friendly ending for those that do not like strong, sexual content. A/N: I DO NOT OWN ZELDA! It's been 5 years since the end of the Calamity, and all is well in Hyrule. Zelda and Link have settled comfortably into their new lives - Zelda as Queen, and Link as her right hand.
