A girl named Max is just trying to go through senior year and make it as pain-less as possible but her best friend Ryan ( which is her total opposite) thinks she should at least stand out for last year of high school. It's kind of hard for someone who spent most of her high school years trying not to be noticeable what so ever. He is trying to do the same and go out of school with a bang but for a boy who is the running-back of the football team, and is also one of popular people at her school, there isn't much he needs to do to stand out.
As soon as Max changes in her converse for heels, someone notices her, a new guy and he is also one of top most attractive guys at her school. Also they have much in common, But when Ryan leaves to go to military school... everything turns into chaos in Max's life.

The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Complete

Leaving Alex wondering if the guy she knows is the real him which only scares her more. The Pool Party
When Emma Harte, a pretty, late blooming, slightly nerdy teen girl who has never shared her first kiss, decides to help her not-brother James, the ultimate womanizer, and the most popular boy in school, with his huge 'party of the year' scheme, she finds herself trying to keep their relationship in tact. The Dream Team, which is made up of Caleb, Emma's best friend and James' younger brother, and Sophia, both Caleb's and Emma's best friend from the 3rd grade. They all initially agree to help James, and also want to make some good money from the party. But, there's one girl who wants to see it all burn up in flames. Sammi, a mean, catty, popular girl who has the hots for James, tries everything in her power to ruin Emma. After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home. He then tells her he fiund out it was Sammi who started the rumor. And to make it up to her, he brings her to see her favorite series, 'Raven-Man' at the Drive-in theatre.Complete

She has to suffer from her disability every day, while at the same time dealing with the people who see her as the odd one out.
