Melina Edwards grew up on the roughest side of Brooklyn, New York. There she endured some of the worst things that one could imagine. Although her cousin Jarod was shot and killed in a drive-by, his betrayal still haunts her. She fought her way through her childhood and went to college at NYC, where she met her best friend Jerica and begin to step out of the shell she spent her whole life in. Melina has been dating a man named Tucker Wilson for four years, and they are engaged to be married. They both relocated to Detroit, Michigan from different parts of the country and met at a bar. While she aborted a pregnancy by him, she really want a happily ever after with him. She want her marriage to mirror Jerica and Victor's.
