I don't know when it happened, or how, but I know I'm crazy. Nothing more, nothing less. Or well, maybe add weird too. Most people tend to stay away from me and it's no mystery why. In a slow town like this, where nothing exciting ever happens, where nothing ever changes, one single moment can alter your life forever, for better, or for worse. Tonight, a simple Saturday night, just like any other, would turn out to be one of the most defining moments of my life. Ace is living a slow life, knowing nothing other than drinking with his friends and the motorcycle club that raised him, waiting to reconnect with his father who has just been released from prison after a fifteen year sentence. Life is simple, though he thought. Until the night he meets Jenna, running from her haunting past and the man that she is desperately trying to escape. But my hope shatters into pieces when he rummages through my bag instead. "Where the heck did you put it," he asks, or maybe states as he isn't looking at me. "NO. Just give me my freakin' bag.
