Sophia Garnet hasn't had a great life. Her mom are controlling, she's lost her father and gained a horrible step-dad, and worse, she's lesbian (it's not really worse for her, but if her parents find out, she's going to be in trouble). She has done a pretty good job of hiding it, but when she meets a girl at school, she has a lot of trouble trying to keep everything in check, because one slip up could mean the death of her. Lizette Whitney has been bullied a good portion of her life because of her skin color. She knows that it's going to be almost impossible to be able to break through to those people that she's human too, so she tries to ignore it. She's had very little friends, and the ones she does have aren't good friends, so it surprises her that Sophia wants to be her friend. Yet, she wants something more than friendship, but who is she kidding. Sophia can't love her. She's not gay. Is she? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey, I really hope you guys enjoy this book. It's something that I've been wanting to do for a long time, and I really hope you guys like it. 😊
