The Amulet

Evie lives in a small town called Black Wells. She's just a typical 16 year old girl dealing with her parents recent divorce. Evie's going through something no one understands, except for the new guy in school. Kian. Kian just arrived in Black Wells with his father and younger twin sisters. His mom passed away 2 years after the twins were born. The police say her death was suicide, but Kian and his father know that's not the truth. Kian has the blood of a wizard, and he's known about it since he was a child. His parents were wizards to. Kian falls hard for Evie and doesn't realize that she's a wizard until she finds a mysterious amulet in her attic. Not only did he not know Evie was a wizard, but Evie didn't know she was a wizard either. The Spiritus Mali is an evil group of wizards who practice dark magic. They will stop at nothing to take Evie's extraordinary powers. While Kian is struggling to protect Evie, she is trying to figure out how to control her powers. Evie turns to her mother to tell her where her powers came from, but her mother has been out of town for business. Evie waited for her mothers return, then realizes her mother may not ever come back to her.
