Cehiilo Neyrl was always the strange kid at school. Her color-changing eyes, her silence which was rarely broken. Her best friend is Dana Schaefer from another country, whom she met online through Kik, an ancient app in the year 2117.
Neither believe in shapeshifters, and nor do the governments. In fact, everything is too peaceful and quiet for there to be any such thing as the ancient legends. But it's not until the day of Cehiilo's fourteenth birthday that everything seems to go wrong.
Cehiilo and Dana both discover abilities and secrets they never knew they had. Now, they must somehow work together from thousands of miles apart to stop the governments of the world, who have each created different hybrids that are destroying the single continent and sixteen countries of Nisonica, which is the only part of the globe that remains after the global war a century ago. They must also meet up at the "ice cap that glows blue" within a month to get answers.
While meeting new friends along the way, can the two stop the governments and somehow meet up before their time is up? Or will it be too late to succeed in both tasks?#922hybrids
