When Cerise, a carefree wild-child, and Ethony, a stubborn novelist, uncovers the secrets of the estranged young nephew of Aleishera Brandon-Cormac, a renowned publisher in Ardenfyre, the lives of Cerise and Ethony entwine with something very sinister indeed. Argus Jehnsen is up to something, and no one is safe from it.
Lurking in the darkness of books, secrets are hidden, and Ethony and Cerise must uncover what is happening in the town of Ardenfyre; something much worse than murder. But once Aleishera's crack-head sister, Maria Jehnsen, realises that the two best friends are catching on to her sons' activities, bad things start to happen to everyone in the town.
Neither Cerise nor Ethony are able try and discover the truth without risking their lives. In a place as small as Ardenfyre, there is nowhere to hide.

Hello, this story is not good. It was written by a depressed young tween who didn't understand what an abusive relationship is. I'm only keeping it up because it's my only completed book. Take everything a grain of salt. Dillon hates his mate and waiting tell he is old enough to reject her. He dose what he can, ignores her, forgets her, because she is nothing but a pathetic human. Or so she thought... . . . My NaNoWriMo novel from November 1st 2016-June 8th 2017 ft. My 2019 self's astute critique. ~~ Miryanna Heolstor is a lady of Terinnia, the niece of the king himself. Ever since she was young she's wanted to follow her father's footsteps and become an ambassador to the land of Fasik. But a new threat is building that will put being an ambassador far from her mind. Her friend Andarin is involved in a secret organization called the Erglis that protects the kingdom from people and organizations who would do it harm. Miryanna wants in. Even if those people and organizations are Karayan Batal and the Vanags. A bloodthirsty group and a passionate and powerful man who's goal is to overtake the land of Terinnia and lay it bare to the hostile Empire of Amani's clutches. Miryanna never thought she'd be butting heads with her kingdom's greatest threat, but while Karayan does his utmost to upset the deffences of her and the Erglis, she does everything in her power to keep his hands off the things she loves, finding a formidable antagonist in the process. Can Miryanna find the strength within her to do all she can for her friends and the land of Terinnia? Serena and Kay are taken away from their village after a vicious attack. The other leïfaen prisoners are being used for something, but for what? Nothing good could possibly come from what their captors have in mind for them. Renefaire is rescued and taken care of by the navine; a tribe of nomadic humans who are practiced in the arts of medicine. With no home to return to, she begins to learn the ways of the navine's medicinal practices so she can help others the same way the navine have helped her. But still, she longs to return to her home, to find if any more of her people survived the attack on their home.
