In this world, having superpowers was never a good thing. Those with abilities were frowned upon, feared. As a solution, those that tested to be an Evolved Human were registered, kept an eye on. At Dusk Springs High School, in San Diego, California, things were about to get interesting, as a group of Evolved Human, or Evo, teenagers arrive, apart of a sort of integration program. Half of the normal kids want nothing to do with them, the other half wanna give the "special' kids hell. But Jay, Alisa, and Damian are different; they're not like the rest of the normals. They're the outcasts, the loners, the only ones who seem not to look at the Evo's like test subjects. But they're not as normal as they think. Everything changes for the three of them that same night, when a solar eclipse covers the Earth in darkness. When the moon finally passes the sun, they've gained gifts, abilities they had never known before. Secrets start to unfold, unlikely friends are made, and a suspicious murderer begins killing people. And it looks like an unlikely group of teenagers are the only ones who can stop it. (Chapter 2 & 3 up now! Let me know how it's looking so far! Hope you enjoy!)
