Seven months have passed. Alec has been searching and following every lead the Cullens and Tanners have found. The Volturi have entrusted the search and safe return to them, but they are growing impatient. Or rather, Aro is becoming impatient. Alec is growing desperate, and the pain is driving him to do things he hasn't done for a very long time.
