"Just you wait!" his brother, Arlo, shouted, "I'll beat you one day! I'll show you that I just because I'm pathetic and weak, doesn't mean I can't surpass you and become the leader of the Magician Council." Zeke's lips twitched into a smirk at his brother's words. "I like to see you try." ---- In the land of Theradonia, select people are born with magical abilities. The twelve with the strongest abilities are selected to become one of the Magician Council members. The Magician Council are raised with high regard and are known to be the protectors of the Kingdom. Only one of the twelve are chosen to be raised into a higher position: the leader of all twelve and the kingdom. When two twins show up on an orphanage doorstep, they are taken in and raised together. Once they show the potential of wielding magical powers, they become the talk of the town. As they grow up, the supposed eldest brother, Zeke, finds himself excelling in magic in every way possible while the youngest one, Arlo, is stuck behind his brother's shadow with his "below-average" abilities. After their coming of age, Zeke and Arlo are sent to Theradonia's capital to compete with other teenagers to find people with the potential to one day hold the title of the Magician Council. As the competition and hunger for power grow inside the capital, so do the boys' abilities. The boys are faced with a difficult choice to either survive together, or face this extreme battle alone. He may not be aware of it yet, but Carrie Lancefull, a senior student on the verge of graduating from Edison High School, has been chosen for a remarkable journey. At a young age, he witnessed a battle between his idol, Lady Lynn, now known as Cassidy, and Prince Flynn, now Lord, following the king's passing five years ago. Recognizing Carrie's potential, Prince Flynn intervened in his match against the formidable Amazon of steel. After defeating her, Prince Flynn spotted a young Carrie in the stands and requested a meeting. He marked Carrie with the royal symbol on his wrist, signifying his eligibility to join the Royal Tournament upon turning 18. However, Carrie's aspirations have since been dampened by his blindness, and the discouraging words of others have led him to consider abandoning his dreams. During gym class, he is accompanied by his friend Kayla and best friend Lucio, and later meets Aislinn and Airian, twin sisters who become his supporters. Despite being a weak level one, while his peers are at levels 10 and 15, the twins commence training him to improve his abilities. However, this progress comes at a price. Throughout the story, character development and multiple storylines will unfold, providing insight into Carrie's friendships and the world of Futurämous.
