Eunjae is your normal everyday 6 year old girl. She usually always sits in the back of the class, and is more often than not quiet, and anti-social.
One Day a new student comes into class he shyly, and quietly introduces himself as Jeon Jungkook. The teacher tells Jungkook to go sit next to Eunjae.
The first few days neither Eunjae or Jungkook could look at each other, but as Eunjae slowly starts warming up and talking to him, eventually Jungkook opens up as well, and since that day the 2 kids agreed to be best friends, and never leave each other's side.
~9 Years Later~
Eunjae and Jungkook are now in middle school, age 15, and they are practically inseparable. But, suddenly while they were at their favorite café, Jungkook breaks the news that he auditioned to become an idol, and got accepted into BigHit Entertainment, and that he's leaving at the end of the week.
Eunjae is left heartbroken and regretful. Since the 3rd grade she's had a crush on Jungkook, and she never had the courage, and now he's leaving her. Through the rest of Jungkook's last week, he distances himself from Eunjae, so he wouldn't hurt when he had to leave his best friend.
~3 Years Later~
Jungkook is now part of the slowly rising group called 'BTS', and Eunjae is now in her last year of high school. She has finally moved on from her feelings for Jungkook, and she is now the top student at her high school. One afternoon while she is studying for mid-terms there's a knock at her door. When she answers she's shocked to see someone she thought she'd never see again...will this be another ordinary love story or will they forever not "talk like they used to do!~"...
