In the realm Hopotria, dragons and humans lived in peace. Well, most of them.
There were Eight Dragon species:Lightning, Water, Fire, Earth, Blood, Illusion, Ice, and Death. No Dragon species ruled over all of them, each species had their own rulers. But, the Death Dragons wanted more power, wanted control, wanted other Dragon species to be extinct. Once the other seven species heard of this, they banished the Death Dragons to the mountains.
But, they became rulers of the humans. The Dragons were able to turn human forever or stay a dragon and turn human whenever they wanted. That gave them the opportunity to mate with humans and have special children called, Dragon Nymphs. They had powers and grew scales.
A prophecy among the Dragons states, "Seven children will rise above the other Nymphs, more powerful and smart. They shall bring the Dragons and humans to peace once more. The Death king's rule will end."
Once the Death dragon king took over, he mated with the Queen and had his own son, Xavier. The other Dragons fled to the Marshland of Unspeakable Horrors, to hide from their power. Before the other royalty left, they mated with humans, and had their kids.
These kids were the Nymphs from the prophecy. Although, no one knew it. Except for the Elves in the Kingdom.

Hello Wattpadians! I hope you enjoy this new book. This is also a notice! School work and writers block is preventing me from updating really quickly. When it comes to this book and SP2 it'll take awhile for updates since I'm writing them in a notebook. I'll try to work fast but you never know what the day has planned. So please try to understand that updates from now on are going to be pretty slow since I don't know how long and if anymore books will come out as a series. Thank you all for the support and for reading the things I put out. Love you all and keep writing!
Love,
Dragon
The dragons have come and gone since the Pliocene epoch when Wooly Mammoths roamed with humans during the ice age. For many of the I and E generation in the Americas and parts of Europe, it was something to avoid being taken by them to their world. But many knew the stories they told, the things they saw and missed, and in this world of social media, the child coming home, reborn as a shifter.
For 16-year-old Nathan that was his reality. For 11 years he's not only avoided getting grabbed but helped others avoid a similar fate. But a black dragon was watching him grabbing him only to lay low in the nearby woods, something they did to pick out who'd they take. It did that for 10 years, more than 3 times longer than usual. His actions and the amount of time he had avoided them made him a sort of celebrity in his town in the midwest.
But one day that black dragon made its decision, he was to be her hatchling. When they're usually marked the child could turn to protective mode, running from home to prevent drawing attention to other children for the picking, and that's what he did, right to where they last landed. Luck, choice, a possible spell in those claws, whatever you may think doesn't matter.
A black dragon never misses its mark. With agility unsurpassed by the other types they're almost impossible to avoid. But these dragons didn't breathe fire, were a threat, nor in any way the size of a 747 max. All they had that was unique from other creatures was a highly evolved brain with the intelligence of a human and a heart of platinum.
Note. Some creatures don't belong to me in any way.
Infested: creators of Warframe (whatever the company is called)
Symbiotes: Disney (since I'm pretty sure they bought Marvel)
Xenomorphs: Universal Studios.
