Kacey Brown had a trouble past and was feared by the whole school.
De'Quan has always been shy and his family didn't make it better.
They start out working on a project, but a turn of events will lead them to their destiny.

"I sit down in the grass and light a joint. I take a puff and relax. I hear someone clear their throat next to me. I hadn't noticed anyone sitting here when I sat down. I look over and notice De'Quan sitting with a book. "Hey partner." I take another puff and smile."
