Shattered Glass

In the light of alien moons, two characters with no knowledge of their past must take on a task that has daunted many; they must get back to their home planet. When they awake, they find a note; but it is unclear. Who is this person that needs their help? How do they save him? And most important of all, who are they? As more notes start to appear and they begin to understand more about themselves, they start to realize that maybe finding this mystery person will be harder that it first appears.
Because the only things they know about this man are:
1) He is dear to them, and knows who they are.
2) The only way to save him is to find his shards...
for he is made of shattered glass.
