Generations ago, something happened that changed the world. Levelled cities. Killed billions. The note is all that remains, containing a single message to those left behind.

'The Answer at the X' is a short story set in a post-apocalyptic world a lot like our own. The story is part of the Legacy Collection, a series-in-planning of short stories and novellas set in this world, that may eventually shed some light on what actually happened when it all came crashing down.

Now it's up to me and only me, Izzy Quest, a freaked out teen from Brooklyn, to save my dying twin sister. You may have guessed by now, I'm not the save-the-day-sort--Bell is. She's the sweet, honest, dependable, pretty twin. Don't believe me? Ask my lunatic of a mother. "You look like Bell; try acting like her."
