'The Answer at the X' is a short story set in a post-apocalyptic world a lot like our own. The story is part of the Legacy Collection, a series-in-planning of short stories and novellas set in this world, that may eventually shed some light on what actually happened when it all came crashing down.

Trust is a word that can easily be broken through breath, but survival is a word that can only be broken by death. Nikolas Clover's goal was to keep his family safe as they joined the Advors, a group of humans against the Resinix alien race. However escaping from the Proditors, a group of humans who standby the Resinix, would be anything but easy. They lived in a small town in Colombia called Salento located North just off the edge of the Amazon Rainforest. The Advors remained hidden under the tall rainforest trees while the Resinix and Proditors ruled the rest of the Earth with an iron fist. The Clovers lived in hiding as they waited for their moment to leave the Proditor infested town. However, suspicion would soon arise. Escaping would feel like hell, but the thought of surviving would feel inconceivable. ~I've dedicated a song from YouTube that fits well with each chapter to enhance the reader experience if you choose to play it! (Optional of course! I do not own any rights to the music. All rights own to their respective creators.)~ ~Cover art created by me.
