When I was younger, I always thought about how you can't control if someone lives or dies...nor can you control who tells your story. I'm about to go on a big journey with two other people and hoping that we can change the fate for everyone. Hoping to try and control the fate. Impossible right? We had hopes. We were blessed children. Little did I know that in the end of the journey that there was so much more to everything happening than I realized.

-

I opened my eyes and everything was in chaos. There was fire every where, magic being used in every corner. I knew I had to get up. I had to get up or we would lose everything. Everything we've ever done will not be lost because of me.

I had to move. My brain wanted to get up but my body wouldn't. I was so tired...my eyes closed.

Then someone picked me up. I opened my eyes and, "Darren..." I said softly.

He looked at me and smiled. Behind him was so much fire, magic, dragons, shadows, and beasts. I have never seen all of this chaos.

"Think you can walk?" He asked as he tried to find cover in the battlefield. Darren set me down and I realized that there was a huge scratch on my leg, so deep that I could almost put a little twig in it. I swear if it was cut an inch more, I would be seeing bone.

"I'm guessing that's a no." I looked up and Darren was still there. I gave him a nod and when he took a moment to catch some more of his breath, I saw a something behind him. My vision wasn't the best at the moment but it sure was coming at us.

"Behind..."

My voice was too quiet. I tugged his cape and pointed behind him. He got my attention and turned around. Once he saw it, he quickly turned to me and covered my body with his. I could still see glimpses of what was happening but I couldn't see it all.

Not moments later did I feel something hit us. Everything went black.

My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I reached up, my arm stinging as I hit the hard wood table over me, which was keeping the rubble off me, miraculously. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind. ~ Featured @StoriesUndiscovered ~ I'm gasping for air trying to breathe. Which is hard when I have Dimitri's abnormally large hand around my throat and his eyes are glowing purple and his fangs have came out. I am on the verge of fucking passing out with tears welling up in my eyes. All this happened because Aphrodite told me to come in this forbidden room to get a formal dress and whatever jewelry I shall need for the ball that is coming up. I had ran my hands over all the gorgeous gowns in this room before deciding on a red chiffon cinderella ball gown that had this gorgeous sweetheart neckline. I tried to find the jewelry she had mentioned when I spotted a small wooden jewelry box with their family crest on it. I had opened the box to find 4 rings. Two larger ones and two smaller ones. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!" I struggle to get out. Slam!! My skull echoed throughout the room for the 4th time. My head has bounced off the wall. Oxygen is slowly leaving my body and I can barely hold on. I'm going to die in his hand if he doesn't move it. My tears are now falling down my face and hitting the floor by my bare feet. "If I ever see you in here again I will..." He never got to finish his sentence because Orion has tackled his brother off me. "What the hell Dim! You could have killed her. She's fucking human you idiot, you cannot go Hulk on her. You will kill her!" Orion yells as loud as he possibly could. I swear my eardrums will pop. "..... Mate."

He turned on his heal and stomped twords me pulling me close to him leaveing no space between us. His lips came crashing down on mine making the butterflies in my stomach errupt with pleaseure. He pulled away and sighed as did I. He grabbed my hand and ran his thumb over the knuckle of my thumb over my tattoo thanks to his stupid game of dare or dare. "Look at the perspective of things Vana. You might see a smily face but I don't. I see a sad face. You don't want my happy ending. Trust me." He said and sighed again. "I love you so much Vana." "Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. But just as I reach the door, his hand slams it shut I look at the door trying to control my anger. "Never, I'd never let you go" he says, voice slightly deeper and just above a whisper. I growled angrily at him and turn to face him, once again his eyes flash with emotions i dont understand. "What's the point in this Oscar, you clearly don't want me here, don't want me-" I started but completely gob smacked when he suddenly says. "Shut up!" My eyes widen as his did for a second before his eyes flick down for a second and I heard him mumble "that came out harsher then intended" My anger flares as I push his chest, it did nothing and he didnt move. "All I'll ever be to you is some broken, disgusting monster kid that doesn't do anything for you, so just let me leave Oscar. Let's say enough to this now" I snaps turning to try open the door. I was then suddenly grabbed and turned instantly, he pressing me hard against the door. "I dont find you broken nor disgusting" he growls, eyes flashing again before something seemed to flash in his eyes, a darker Oscar arrived and I was completely down for. "does this-" He suddenly grabs my hips and pulls them flash against his, pushing his front forward slightly. Something hard poked me, causing my face to redden. I gasp instantly when i feel him throb slightly, twitching as if he knew I was there. I felt him lean closer, his hot deep breaths in my ear causing me to close my eyes "does it feel like you do nothing for me?" He growls. His voice and actions cause a throbbing of my own to occur. He pulls back so we were looking into each other eyes "your far from a child iris and there's not a single day I've looked at you that way" his voice only seems to deepen. I felt a wetness build in my panties causing me to blush harder, his hands suddenly comes up and cups my face and I knew I was screwed.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?
