In a Futurist-Victorian London, Ex-Carnie Victor Hart makes his living as a dinner party entertainer and mountebank, using the skills taught to him by his Romani mother – the Patterns. When tragedy strikes a wealthy friend, Victor Hart puts his skills to use in an alternative manner.
This Steampunk London has its fair share of psychos, sickos, and sadists, and it takes a special kind of mind to hunt them. Victor sees human behaviour in a way few others can understand but only as an outsider; certain parts of his humanity are missing and that disturbs him.
As he solves each seemingly unrelated case, a dark pattern slowly begins to reveal itself threatening the heart of the British Empire and even what we feel makes us human.
A Steampunk-detective-noir, darker than most, the first volume features four thrilling cases; the first novel in a Duology.

For Detective George Reynolds, his initiation into the area-wide murder task force under the guidance of DS Michael Dalton takes a nightmarish turn. His first case is far from the seamless transition he had hoped for. The horrors they uncover are steeped in the supernatural, as an ancient Kanaima demon, unleashed from an Egyptian relic, wreaks havoc on the city. George is torn between the impending 'blood moon,' heralding his transformation into a werewolf, and the relentless evil that seeks to drench London's streets in blood. Guided by DS Michael Dalton, he must untangle the enigmatic threads connecting the first lifeless body beneath the Union Canal Bridge to a string of gruesome murders. But George soon discovers that the demon not only possesses an unwitting host but also answers to a sadistic puppeteer hungry for revenge. George's initiation into this hidden world is a baptism by fire, plunging him into the grip of his first blood moon and awakening his dormant demon side. Amidst the chaos, he forges a sizzling connection with Ellena Walker, the brilliant forensic pathologist, igniting a second chance at love. Prepare for a spine-tingling journey into the heart of darkness, where love and horror intertwine with a chilling supernatural serial killer case. 63 parts Ongoing

Nothing goes better with tea and crumpets than corpses and monsters. ************ The final round of Benedict's twisted game begins, and Trinket and Booker are given their first clue: a corpse with a number carved into its head. As they search for a meaning behind the strange message, more bodies begin to surface, attracting the attention of less-than-savory characters. In order to keep Scales from beating them to the finish line, Trinket and Booker must make friends and enemies alike in their race to break the morbid code. However, the closer they get to finding the madman who started this insanity, the more uncertain Trinket becomes of her place in Booker's life. And with the very real threat of her past sins coming to light, she's willing to do almost anything to avoid losing the man she loves. That is, if she can keep from being dragged back to Elysium. It's JANE EYRE meets FRANKENSTEIN in this YA mystery series with a steampunk flair. Sequel to THE VAMPIRE OF TINKERFALL. Bonus novella: AH, POOR BIRD Warning: this story involves mental illness and has scenes depicting anxiety attacks and PTSD, as well as suicidal thoughts.
