You all know the story of Cinderella. Forced to do all the chores for her ugly Stepmother and Stepsisters; wishes to go to the ball; Fairy Godmother grants her wish, and POOF! Cinderella meets the Prince and after a bit of kerfuffle over a shoe they get married. But what if events didn't happen exactly how the story goes? What if her Father was still alive? What if Gothel and the stepsisters are a lot more dangerous than they seem? Find out in this retelling of the classic Grimm's Fairytale.

Loosely inspired by the fairy tale of Cinderella, Not Your Princess plays on the scenario where neither the prince nor the future princess attends the ball. Aschleigh Baker did not have a fairy godmother to rescue her when she was prohibited from attending the prince's engagement ball. No one was there to wave a magic wand and right all of the wrongs done unto her. Instead, she ended up going to the town's tavern to miserably celebrate her last night of freedom before she is forced into marrying her family's blackmailer, who knows about her secret imperviousness to fire. Prince Augustus never wanted to be forced into an arranged marriage with a stranger. I related myself to the perfection called Cinderella when my Dad got married to the witch Margaret, when she brought in her evil daughters to our house, when my dad left for business trips and forgot he had a daughter. So, I grew up listening to the same old story of Cinderella and its many versions. All of these versions had one thing in common. She was drop dead gorgeous. I was not. Chances of an XXL Princess to meet her prince charming are almost Nil. But As the story goes, All It takes is one night. Just one single night that could destroy your fairytale. But before the prince was able to get the name of the maiden, she had to leave as she had to be home before midnight. And in doing so she left behind a glass slipper. The prince then uses this to aid him in his search for the mysterious girl...but will he find her? Disclaimer: Story is in English! "Mistress" is given to a woman yet to inherit an estate, though of high-class breed (one would not refer to a beggar or maid as 'Mistress'). Although she loves her three siblings and tries to be the best sister and lady she can, the weight on her shoulders grows the more she learns and the more she has to know. When her father remarries to a secretive widow, Clara's responsibilities triple overnight. Through no fault of her own, Clara is thrown into an adventure she never counted on-- one of magic, tragedy, and romance. Through palace ballrooms, enchanted forests, and encounters with a handsome stranger she really shouldn't care for, Clara soon realizes that the only way to help her family and fix the problem is to do it herself.
