WARNING: strong language. highest ranking: #146 in poetry Joeanne is a rapper. She's not famous, she's not glamorous, she's not all star. And she most certainly is no role model. Leaving home, almost a year ago, she lives under a fake identity. In which nobody from her past can trace her. She makes money illegally, exclusive to a drug lord who doesn't take no for an answer. Escaping the reality of her harsh living, rapping is a form of comfort, and a lapse in time where she can be stable. Exquisitely basing her lines from darkening content, Joeanne expresses herself as damaged and relatable to many. Temporary may only be for a moment, but for millions can base off of a lifetime.
