LOVE

noun; How they feel for each other.

☀️

"Hey," my voice is soft in the silence of the room, I sit up in bed looking over at him "Are you okay?"

He sits down beside me on the bed, I look him up and down. His knuckles are bloody.

Reaching out, I grasp them in my hands lacing our hands together.

"What happened?" I ask "Did you punch someone?"

He nods his head, "Yeah, I did." His voice is hoarse as if he'd been smoking but I don't smell any smoke.

"Why?" I asked him, my curiosity taking over, his blue eyes snap to mine with so much intensity swirling through them I'm overwhelmed.

"Because they hurt someone I love."

I gulp, leaning closer to him, my arms wrapped around his muscular frame as I comforted Nicolas.

"It's going to be okay." I murmur and I know this is true because he's kissing me. Nicolas is kissing me and everything's okay.

He's kissing me, and I love him.
