After the death of his parents and close friends Ponyboy falls into a depression, his brothers along with what's left of his gang of friends try to help him. But it's hard as they all seem to slowly falling into the same endless black hole that Ponyboy is and as they continue to struggle with social clashes and staying as close as family in times like theses there's only so much a young boy like Pony can take before he's pushed too far and does something stupid and regrettable.
