"Eddie, Ed's, Spaghetti, Edward, whatever. Just listen to me." Richie now had his hands placed on either side of Eddie's cheeks, his over magnified eyes looking into the smaller boys soft doe like brown ones.
"Richie.. your scaring me, what's your deal?" Eddie looked at his friend with a touch of concern, looking up into his eyes, being smaller of course, and raising his brows.
"My deal? what's my deal? You. Your mydeal constantly, and I don't even know why. Your annoying, stubborn, a huge ass know it all and honestly if it wasn't for us being friends for so long I wouldn't have given you a second look, but now... your my deal and I need... I need..."
"You need what?"
"I need you."

Eddie Kaspbrak is the finest of Derry High. Straight A student and the perfect example to everyone of the ideal person to be. Eddie has his whole life planned ahead of him. Specific moves that are intricately structured with the perfect opportunities to lead him to the top. Eddie is the fucking poster boy of perfection. But unfortunately, nobody is perfect. And when a certain someone threatens the spot on top that Eddie has reserved for himself, the ugly side of him unleashes, and things get... messy. Let's just say that Eddie Kaspbrak would do anything for his reputation. And that includes befriending a complete moron, despite it's challenges. And it's challenges... are a fucking lot. But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or, alternatively: Eddie Kaspbrak is a know it all, and believes he has battled heroically through all the high school classes he needs to ace in order to succeed in life and to know what he's doing all throughout. And he does know what he's doing, for the most part, up until Richie Tozier comes along, and fucks everything up. Eddie has to soon realize that life isn't just dots and dashes and letters and numbers. People are people, and life is bigger than he's ever known before. Eddie Kaspbrak is the banker's son who can't keep his eyes off of Richie, looking through the window of the bank. When they meet, Eddie refuses to give Richie his name until he "earns it." So Richie vows to earn the window boy's name, no matter what. "Eddie could feel Richie's eyes burning holes in his back, but he didn't turn around, just tensed a bit. He wasn't sure why. He guessed he knew that if he turned and looked, he'd be met with chocolatey eyes and dark, playful curls and milky, clear skin and an award-winning smile with full, soft lips and a nose that was always a little pink and probably a teasing, 'like what you see, Kaspbrak?' and huge, dorky glasses that somehow brought out every feature spectacularly, pitting them against each other in wonderful juxtaposition.
