"Richie..  your scaring me,  what's your deal?" Eddie looked at his friend with a touch of concern,  looking up into his eyes,  being smaller of course, and raising his brows. 

 "My deal?  what's my deal? You. Your mydeal constantly,  and I don't even know why.  Your annoying,  stubborn,  a huge ass know it all and honestly if it wasn't for us being friends for so long I wouldn't have given you a second look,  but now... your my deal and I need...  I need..." 

"You need what?" 

"I need you."

A lot of the important details in this story are based off the two movies and the behind the scenes and deleted scenes stuff. Specific moves that are intricately structured with the perfect opportunities to lead him to the top. Eddie is the fucking poster boy of perfection. But unfortunately, nobody is perfect. And when a certain someone threatens the spot on top that Eddie has reserved for himself, the ugly side of him unleashes, and things get... messy. Let's just say that Eddie Kaspbrak would do anything for his reputation. And that includes befriending a complete moron, despite it's challenges. And it's challenges... are a fucking lot. But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or, alternatively: Eddie Kaspbrak is a know it all, and believes he has battled heroically through all the high school classes he needs to ace in order to succeed in life and to know what he's doing all throughout. And he does know what he's doing, for the most part, up until Richie Tozier comes along, and fucks everything up. Eddie has to soon realize that life isn't just dots and dashes and letters and numbers. People are people, and life is bigger than he's ever known before.
