A year ago, twelve Meta's escaped from a secret organization by the name of The Monarch Butterfly Corporation with the help of a cyborg by the name of Connor Days. Along the way, lives are lost and one by one, Joelee and her friends are picked off until only one is left. A certain boy who can control time. Broken by the loss of his friends, he defies time and goes back to save his friends. But, altering time that drastically has consequences and time tears, allowing people from a dystopian realm to escape into their own realm.  Now in a battle to save their world, the teens must fight off their worst nemesis of all time, their own dystopian selves.

Nearly a year after The Defenders Of Destiny group escaped from The Monarch. The heros are now exploring their newfound powers in the city they've chosen to protect. New York City has now become the unintentional crime breeding ground for the released Metahumans. The Defenders must now clean up the mess they started when they escaped by rounding up the other escaped metas while maintaining peace through the city. No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride.
