Country Hearts

I used to sing. To be honest, it was my passion. When I became discovered, it was the most amazing thing in the world. After all, I am just a country, daddy's girl from a tiny town with one gas station, one public telephone, and a little convenience store. I never thought anyone would see my passion. The first few years were amazing, that is, until I realized all it had become was show. No one could even hear me or see me through all of the lights and loud music. They wouldn't ever know me. That's when I ran from that life and met him, my soldier.
