What if, after you die you learn why the reaper is 
    portrayed holding a scythe. It isn't to harvest your soul, it's
    to protect you from something on your journey.
     "The Reapers" 
    they are there to protect the dead humans that are now called souls. The  souls must reach four reaper bases before reaching paradise. The Reapers and souls travel through 
    the afterworld called purgatory and 
    of course it isn't easy to bypass the forest.
    there will be a group of monsters trying to stop the reapers.
    where will the human soul end up?
