~ An interview of the members of the Armed Detective Agency ~
Journalist:
So, what do you do in your life, precisely?
Yoko:
What I do in my life...? I fear I don't get your question...
Journalist:
I was asking some precisions about your job...
Yoko:
Ah! Being a detective is a tough work. You're often on dangerous missions! But the most difficult thing is to type your reports and respect your schedule! And it's even harder when you have a colleague singing about double suicide!
Journalist:
I... see... This must be... Quite interesting...
Yoko:
It is, indeed!
Journalist:
If it isn't indiscreet, what was your previous occupation before becoming a detective?
Yoko:
Actually, that's a secret. Our newbies try to guess our job, I can't say anything to the press. However... You wouldn't want to know about it.
Journalist:
Was it so terrible? There is no need to be shameful about your past you know!
Yoko:
You seriously wouldn't want to have the slightest clue about my previous job. It was... Very low.
Journalist:
Erm... Okay...?
Yoko:
I assure you, you'll sleep better without being aware of it!
Journalist:
Alright... How old are you already? 22?
Yoko:
That's right. Why so?
Journalist:
You look like a young woman with a bright future. Do you have any projection? Any dream?
Yoko:
Hard to say you have a dream when you couldn't really sleep until your twenties.
Journalist:
I'm sorry...?
Yoko:
Forget it, forget it! I was just thinking out loud!
Journalist:
... So...? Any project...?
Yoko:
Not at all, I'm afraid. I've always been, I am still, and I'll always be...
Journalist:
Tell me?
Yoko:
Seeking.

Prey and Predator [Ranpo x Reader] + Bonus ✓
"I was a prey all my life, but I became a predator for the same reason too." For my whole life, even before I had reached my adolescence, I knew I dreamed of becoming a detective - just like father once was - my admiration and respect for the title never running short since I was a mere child. What I did not know, however, was that my ambition of becoming one would arrive sooner than expected, being forced into engaging with real crimes and relying on my own capabilities and the abilities of others to solve these. While death came knocking at my door, so did the start of a new relationship, with whom Yokohama knew as being their "greatest detective". The Amazing Port Mafia
"Looks like we are getting a new recruit!" The boss, named Mori, clapped his hands enthusiastically. The man, a ginger haired with a short stature turns his head behind, to the boss. "Huh?" "Welcome to the Amazing Port Mafia!" ... First, sleep is never required. Then, food is never required. Ultimately, no amount of intense injury can kill you. "Oh man, we are basically immortals, leaving aside the getting insane part." The bandaged man gives a smug grin as he squints his eyes at the dazed ginger, perfectly reading his thoughts. ... Who sleeps that long? Had he not put on a wake timer before sleeping? Because this nightmare was now taking a little too long to end.
The Marionette • Chuuya X Reader
COMPLETED • There is no better way to describe you than a doll, living to please your owner. At the age of 11, Mori took you in from an orphanage and brought you to the Port Mafia; that's when you met Dazai and discovered your ability. At the age of 12, you become Dazai's right hand...except you aren't allowed any contact with the outside world. At 13, you hear a voice that you are told is nothing but a dream, at 14 you've become nothing but a puppet in the hands of a puppet master. At age 15 he's gone, and you are left with nothing. In the present, now 19, executive Chuuya Nakahara is given responsibility of you, but when he takes you on a mission and you don't react the way he needs you to, he starts to realize something is terribly wrong with you...he just doesn't know what. Only meeting you once in the past, what will happen when he starts piecing it all together? How will he react when he starts to care more about you than he should? What strings will he have to play to free you from your past? How deep do your wounds run? • - Trigger warnings: the usual you'd find in BSD, implications of sexual harrassment. - I will be using female pronouns. - nsfw warning in part 2 (chapter 41). • Disclaimer: I don't own the characters except for "you". The credit to the Bungou Stray Dogs world goes to the respective owners. The plot is all originally mine, however. • Thank you to Mar for making me this lovely cover. Love always. (@marster_)Complete
