The first time Peter Parker saw Isla Lauren Beckster she looked like pure gold; it painted her eyelids, glittered on her dress and shone on her cheekbones. Diamonds danced on her fingers, at her throat and on her ears. Her smile was the brightest thing in the room and when her eyes met his he thought he would melt.
The first time Isla Lauren Beckster saw Spider-Man he was bleeding and falling through her window, tumbling onto her carpet and smearing what blood he had already smudged on the window onto her carpet. He had slashes across his stomach and despite the fact he was jacked she watched a scarlet blush creeping up on his neck as she pushed his red jumper up over his head, careful to leave his mask on tact.
