One goal.

Gain as much power possible while obtaining something that had been missing for a very long time.

Honestly, it seemed simple. For as long as he could remember, Archelaus always won in the end. He would get what he wanted, no matter the cost. Having demon followers helped get matters situated in a much more timely fashion. Yet the universe always had an ace up its sleeve.

That ace was a bunch of hunters who meddled in anything dealing with supernatural. Nuisances, really. They were an unexpected surprise that wouldn't impede his progress...but he wasn't the only one with an opinion.

That one goal slowly unraveled into a much bigger picture.

Life.
