All is not right in the secret world of supernatural monsters and beings. Another school year is starting up at Dracula's Academy for Supernaturals, and some of the students are bringing more than clothes and school supplies to the boarding school. Hints and whispers of unrest among the vampire Moon Class students have flitered through to the Sun Class. However, for Sun Class senior Lucy van Helsing just being at school is trouble enough. She isn't a problem student, it's just that being in the same building as a vampire is much closer than she'd like to be. As a dhampir, her origin story isn't a happy one. And that story may just be the reason some people want her dead.
