You hear all types of stories about mystical creatures. I know that you hear stories about werewolves, demon, vampires, faeries, and so many others. I know some stick to you forever. I know that you still have dreams and nightmares about them. I know that when you wake up you think to yourself that it was just a dream and that none of it is true, that it is all fake. You think that it is just your imagination from when you were little that you grew out of. You are probably thinking stalker. But that is not true. The reason I know all about this is because I went through it. Unlike a lot of you I was awaken to the real world around us. And sure there is something out there and its not faerie tales and happy endings. It is far from it. Take a look through my eyes if you are brave enough for it. See a world that isn't like ours yet its not tales about how a supernatural creature like vampires or werewolves fall in love with a human. Heck in my world they don't exist. But there is something out there and it is not nice.

The story starts at the end of the world where there is nothing left on 'this world', only flames are burning to further destroy it and things people call 'monsters' usually known as some "unknown creatures" which are born just to make this world disappear ragged on this 'world' for unknown reasons, it's not that those reasons are unknown but it is still too soon for you guys to know about this yet. The world was burning and countless unknown creatures roamed around to kill anything which was in their sight but what could they kill? Everyone already died and nothing was left to destroy just waiting for this 'world' to slowly burn away. That's right because even if there was nothing left to call this a 'world' there was one small resistance left.... a person... yes that is right just one person... I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. Echo of the Past
A few months ago, I bought a mug with gold gilt. On sale. Not a gift either nor because of an occasion to remember by it. Just plain, pretty mug for 15PLN. I drank my coffee from it since. I spat loose tea leaves into it. It never felt particularly significant. An ordinary object. Only when I lost it, I realised its true value. I sat comfortably at my desk one evening. Looking at my phone, I reached to take my song-text notebook. Trivial situation. My clumsy fingers were unable to avoid the mug. They allowed it to topple over, to slip from the desktop. Even though I did not see the split-second occurrence, I felt the pressure of unease. My head painted the trajectory of the fall on its own, the shattering, spillage. The loss. For a millisecond I still had hope, that I would be able to catch the mug, that I would be able to avoid what was about to happen. But I knew I was headed for failure. I don't have any superpowers. I only scalded my fingers. I looked at the mug's new shape for a long while, at the shattered pieces. At the spilling liquid. Our adventure came to an end. Irrevocably. I won't be drinking coffee from it anymore, nor spit tea leaves into it. Well. I shouldn't be sad, it was just a regular mug, just like thousands of others. I grew to like it, it kept me company throughout hundreds of warm drinks. I lost it. I hate this feeling the most. In the moment when I am losing something, I stop in my tracks, I hold my breath. It is always a very intense moment. A short one, but one that gives me the tight unpleasant feeling in my stomach. The feeling of loss is always accompanied by hope. Silly and naïve. Making me believe so strongly, that I can make it. That I will still be able to catch the mug mid-flight. Paranormal Romance (Werewolf) You know that movie Jerry Maguire? It's about this sports agent who got fired for suddenly having a conscience. Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway. Don't get me wrong it was heart wrenching, very much so, and there was a passionate declaration. But instead of saying the oh so loving, oh so sweet and oh so scripted "I love you. You complete me..." like Jerry did in the movie, my 'mate', the other half of my soul and the one who 'completes' me said, "I hate you. I wish you were dead!" He said it with disgust and anger burning in his eyes. He didn't run into my arms like he was supposed to, he ran away from it. But who could blame him? Jerry Maguire was right. We live in a cynical world and we work on a business of tough competitors. Why would my mate want to be with me? He'd be shunned and be forever laughed at. Aside from the fact that I was male, I'm basically useless to him because I'm a werewolf who can't phase. He's an alpha. He could have anyone he wants.
