Elena Gilbert, a 17-year-old high school student living in Mystic Falls, Virginia, and her 15-year-old brother Jeremy. Since the death of their parents in a car accident, she lives with her aunt and legal guardian, Jenna Somers. During the school year, Elena meets harry and zayn Salvatore who are actually vampires. harry has a habit of feeding on the blood of animals, feeling compassion for humans, zayn is in itself a cruel and bloodthirsty vampire who likes to chase his victims before they bleed their blood. Elena finally discovered their secret and began a relationship with harry. As in the episodes, Elena became friends with zayn and tried to revive his humanity. She also discovers that she has a vampire companion Catherine Pearce, the brother of the Salvatore brothers in the past.

Damon and Katherine go on a road trip to try and find Mikael. Klaus compels a nurse to drain Ellie of her blood, but Damon shows up and tells Klaus Mikael is coming to town. Lexi appeared to Ellie, and they tried to get Stefan's humanity back before Ellie gave up on him. Bonnie is reunited with her grandmother. Jeremy can now touch Anna, and Ellie sees them kissing. Rebekah reveals to Ellie and Elena how they became vampires. Stefan enlists Bonnie's help in hiding the coffins he and Ellie took from Klaus. Klaus has one of his hybrids hit Jeremy with a car. However, Alaric is hit instead. It is revealed that it isn't working the same way, and it does not fully heal him. It's Caroline's 18th, Matt, Ellie, Elena, and Bonnie surprise her with a party to send off her human self. Jeremy leaves.Complete

Plus, London is practically infested with walking blood-bags. The silver lining on this rather blood infested hell-hole she calls her life now; she's caught in an weird love triangle with two guys who are literally worst enemies, the similarities her love life shares with that of the Petrova doublegangers is actually sickening. Boy does Damon Salvatore have his hands full.
