Prologue: A company of humanoid owls operate an unlisted facility involved in use of portal technology to dangerous areas. Thought they currently have clearance and financial support form government entities, this company has long had an uneasy relationship with a nearby local militia.

This is my go at a VALORANT fanfiction; this will be using a character I created (that you, reader, will be in the POV of.) I apologise if it sucks, I'm trying my best. *** Mountains, ice and snow. This was all Everest knew and understood; until a freak accident that occurred on her descent from Mount Everest completely turned her life upside down. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities.
