This is a poem I wrote for my english class and decided to post it here. (I got a 100% from a teacher who is known to not give anything higher than 95%). The prompt was to write about someone we find interesting or look up to. We could choose between writing a free verse or English Sonnet. I chose to write about my mom in the form of an English Sonnet.

Okay, so for my senior year, I took a creative writing class as an elective. Mostly because I didn't have a sixth or seventh period and I wanted to give it a try. Not only did it have Creative Writing with making different stories, for the second half of the school year the class goes into making poems and crap like that.
