Well, her adoptive parents found it "unhealthy" and "antisocial" that she was spending her three months of summer vacation doing nothing.
So what did they do, you ask?
They signed Dinah up for a summer job at Miami's downtown library.
Now, to an unmotivated Dinah, this is starting to look like the worst summer of her life.
Until Normani comes around.
Pretty, shy, and quiet Normani that works with the children at the same library.
Things start to lighten up.
And Dinah starts to think that maybe, just maybe, it will be a bright summer after all.
