The Mannix family were considered saints even heroes to the local community. Yo u see, they owned a 'recreational and retreat centre' as they called it, for troubled youths. Carly Mannix practised as a child psychologist and a guidance counsellor at the local school. Michael Mannix, a highly skilled kick boxer who retired and took a coaching job at a local boxing gym before giving it away to build the centre with his wife.
And then there's Imogen Mannix, their daughter. Now a young adult she wants to follow in her parents foot steps. She spends most of her time working at the centre with them, offering support and a helping hand to anyone who needed it. All three of them have come across their fair share of troublemakers.

However, when a friend needs a favour and the family open their home to a troubled young man from Ireland - they see a whole new meaning to the phrase 'troublemaker'.

"But, I have a habit of trying to fix people who are broken." I shift in my position a little, broken people? I'm not broken. "I guess I thought it may have something to do with it"

I look up at her my eyebrows furrowed.

"I don't care what you thought Imogen.. I don't care what you think. You are wrong about me"

"I know you are a good guy deep down, but you are putting up a mask!"
"Imogen.."

"I'm just trying to help! "

"Imogen. I don't wanna hear what your tryna do unless it involves you on your knees with your pretty mouth wrapped around my dick".
