When 13 year old Evangeline loses her parents in a tragic accident, she lives with her aunt, Jenna, who is a cancer survivor. Evangeline doesn't know what to do with her life, so she decides to throw it all away. Her aunt tries to saves her from a pit of despair when she brings her to an orphanage to make some friends that are less fortunate than her. There she meets Hope, who picks her up and helps her rise above the tough times. Hope doesn't think she's beautiful, but Evangeline wants to change her mind. In this heartwarming story, both girls help one another and reveal the true meaning of being beautiful.
